Emma Small

Emma Small is a freelance hair stylist and makeup artist based in London. Represented by Stella Creative Artists, Creative agency.

Born in Scotland, Emma has had an interest in hair styling, makeup and fashion from an early age. She was trained in hairdressing in Glasgow, and completed a makeup artistry course at the University of the Arts, London. 

Experienced and creative Hair and Makeup Artist, exceptional at collaborating and producing design ideas for hairstyles and makeup. Achieves client satisfaction through consulting about their preferences and working to achieve desired looks according to the brief.

Emma has worked alongside a number of respected hair stylists, makeup artists, stylists and photographers, and has developed an extensive portfolio of work.

She has collaborated on a wide range of projects including editorial for magazines such as British Vogue (multiple), International Vogue (multiple), Wonderland, Man About Town, ID, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, GQ and The Face. Emma’s clients include M&S, All Saints, Reiss, French Connection, ASOS, Net-a-porter, Matches, Fenwick and Harrods.

She has also worked on advertising campaigns for Adidas, Reebok, Creed, Batiste, Press, Asda and Uber. She works on press and red carpet for talent with Netflix including The Crown and Bridgerton. Emma has also worked on music videos for artists such as The Vamps.
